Sure, the ancient chinese did this before other religions were introduced. They worshipped Shang Di, Lord of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is still in Beijing today. It is believed that the Chinese arrived in china about 5 centuries after the Tower of Babel. They are referred to as the Sinin in the bible. When you what you believe is right, you're honoring God. The bible is His written word, so it's good to have some of his words in mind if you don't have it with you. It's a privilege to have one because people have been killed for it, especially among the Catholic church in it's early years. The bible was chained from it's members because the church was compromising religion with the pagan Romans and didn't want to be found out. Anyone against the catholic church was considered a heretic. The protestant churches came out of this with their saying "Only scripture and scripture alone".

2 Tim 3:16-17...16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The Holy Spirit and the bible are inline with eachother. Jesus knew scripture, so should we. If you want to use the Spirit to guide you, try reading the bible with no commentaries but only the Spirit to teach you and guide you. Paul was able to win people to Christ showing them the goods news by showing them Jesus is the fulfillment of the scriptures. The bible contains prophesy and history we should know. Has the Spirit showed them this too? I doubt it.

Sure. The Bible is a tool. But not necessarily one you have to use. Of course that is as long as you don't forget the rules and guidelines it teaches.

Best advise would be to search for God yourself. Organized religion is not the path to answers. The only answers will come when you search for yourself, and find a real relationship with God.

Good Luck

You have to be very carefull not to fall into the satan's trap. Nowdays many people are opening their own churches where some even dont truly follow the bible.

I think its best you read the bible as well. Even satan knows the bible well, so just be alert. God bless.

It sounds dangerous. If you are a Christian you need to get your froind out and start reading the scriptures. People are Christians without the Bible and they worship the Lord, but they desperatlet need and want one.
