It is natural to shed hair. It is usually being replaced as fast as one loses it but there are times, in stress or for physical or hormonal reasons, when hair is lost faster than it is growing.
Examine the hairs. If they have a root (a small, lighter bulbous bit at the end) then they have pulled out of the follicle and may or may not be replaced by a new hair. If they have no root, then the hair is broken and will grow out again. It will take time for a diet to change the nature of hair because the only growing part of a hair is at the root.
If most of the hair you see has roots, perhaps you should see a doctor as premature hair loss is indicative of other problems. If your hair is brittle, there are shampoos which will help to strengthen it but you should speak to a hair specialist about treatments (and diet).

Hair fall apart from unhealthy diet and life style also happens due to other reasons like type of water and most importantly due to hereditary reasons. So if you are eating a healthy diet and still the hairs fall i guess it could be hereditary. However if you wish you could also consult an expert. But worrying doesn't help. So be cool and do not worry. There are some yoga exercises which are supposed to be very good for hair growth. Why don't you try them. However I still feel that you should not worry, afterall falling hair is a very common occurence and is not something over which you should loose sleep.

Hair, like anything on our bodies, has a lifespan. Hair grows in different phases and so when you have hair loss you will also, at the same time, have hair just emerging and some just there in the prime of its life..awaiting the day to fall out. Usual hair loss is about 100 hairs a day. Sometimes, when people have a traumatic event, they have what is termed Talogen Effluvian..talogen is a hair phase and it is when the hair is beginning to form from the root. If there is a traumatic event at this time of growth then that hair will fall out in 4 months time..and continue to fall out until the whole lot of talogen phase(from 4months prior) has fallen out. This way exceeds the 100 day normal hair loss.It does not mean that all your hair falls out at once, but that it will thin right out.
So, nothing stops hair loss, as one hair falls out another witll be replaced, unless alopecia is in the family from a young age that is.
I do know of friends who took female hormones of a small amount, they are males, and this stunted the rate of hair permanently lost through normal alopecia.

You lose up 100+ hairs a day, naturally. If you were you're hair up alot, or use a lot of styling products these hairs can get caught up in your hair until you wash it, if these hairs build up, when you wash it, it may seem you are losing lots and lots of hair, when in fact it is just the hair you have naturally lost over the past few days coming out. Like dogs, we do seem to lose more hair during the summer months than the winter. If you are really worried speak to your doctor, alothough if you had Alapecia, you would be noticing bald spots and irregular hair coverage, that sort of thing.

My hair does exactly the same and has done it for 40 years now. It is completely normal and has made absolutely no difference to the thickness of my hair, even as I get older. I now actually comb conditioner through my wet hair in order to capture the loose hair so as to not shed it all over the house afterwards (it's very long!). Don't worry. Even on the best diet in the world (i.e. vegan), it is perfectly normal for loose hair to fall out when wet.

post the shampoo and conditiooner you're using maybe that would help. Lots of people lose alot of hair in the shower. Do you constantly use hot water in the shower and make the showerhead fully scorch your scalp? That MIGHT be the reason, but then i thought that only caused dry scalp. Maybe its because ur using pantene. Its known for smooth hair but hair loss like mad.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://bitly.im/aMwWp While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

hie, im sorry to hear that.
sometimes it happens to me but once in a while (maybe once a year) it is normal for ppl to loose about 100strands of hair a day, but you are loosing much more than that.
i dont know whether it is linked to shampoos but there are special medicated ones out there to reduce hair loss. ask pharmacist for the best ones.
it is thought that it is linked with your levels of stress. like for example, for me, i loose some of my hair around may when i am sitting exams. and yes like you it happens when i am washing it in the shower
what i do to ease it is when you are washing your hair turn the heat of the water down, as low as you can bear, for that helps your scalp. and also colder water is good for hair strands because it closes up the hair scales - whilst hot water opens them and makes hair more vunerable and prone to breakage. if you cant bare washing hair with cold water, then before you leave the shower rinse it with cold water.
as for products to buy and put on... jojoba oil is good. its like a close replica of the oils your own hair makes that protects and gives shine to hair.
another tip is brush your hair before you enter the shower. this will align hair straight and therefore it is less likely to fall out in shower when you are washing it due to it being in tangles and you tugging at them.
hope i have helped you a bit.

use Nioxin. It's expensive, like 40 bucks for a big bottle of shampoo, but it works. You can find it in some salons.
