Very true if you mean the USA . As a Scot I've always taken the view that middle Americans are my kin. After all so many of my Scottish forebears were responsible for setting the country up. Was it revenge for 1745?

Please disregard the ignorant comments made by some of the individuals on this website. The American people do not hate people from Iraq or Afghanistan..These are violent times but at the end of the day Iraq, America, and the rest of the world will be much safer, more free.......and one day.....friends and allies...

show love in the face of adversity.

You have the right idea my friend! We are all humans on one planet, when we undertstand that and accept that we might have a chance. Hamid, you are starting somehting good here.

Not many people on Yahoo! Answers show kindness for no reason, but it is the key to a peaceful world.

Well done

In my opinion :
The 15% of Americans who have a passport and have seen other parts of the globe are, in general, fantastic, friendly people.
The other 85% are, in general, amongst the most ignorant, hateful people on the planet.

So, choose your american friends wisely.

Contrary to popular belief Americans are not looking for enemies. We want allies, and equals. We don't want the burden of policing the planet.
