A week ago, the neighbors' cat came to "visit" at my boyfriend's front porch. He recently adopted an adorable dog, but it still needed a lot of taining, especially since the dog hadn't experience a cat before. Well, when the cat came, he turned around and saw my dog kill the cat in a quick instant. The neighbors are blaming him for killing their cat. Is it his blame?

Its no more your bf's fault than it is theirs for allowing the cat to roam free. Part of owning an outdoor cat is knowing that one day it may get attacked/killed. Since the dog apparently likes to kill smaller animals, you'll want to keep him on a very short leash and not let him out of your sight when outdoors.

The dog probably needs a lot of therapy. You should see if they make those white coats with the straps on it, for dogs. Your neighbor will understand when they see your dog with the coat on and will leave you alone.

The neighbors should be flogged for being negligent pet owners and letting the cat roam.

Offer him a tiger. This one won't be killed by a dog.

Of course it is his fault. Now that he knows it, he should get a muzzle for it.
