It probably is stress related since u have only had it for 5 days, but the dog needs fluids down it or it can dehydrate, so i recommend u take it 2 the vet 2 be checked out, chihuahuas are delicate dogs and can get sick easily.

I also agree you should take him to the vet, but try just plain chicken and rice, they usually love this and will spark his appetite. Make sure he is getting enough water to drink. If you have to, put some of the chicken and rice in his mouth for him, he will eat it from there.

if he hasn't had all of his shots before you got him, he could have parvo. dogs with parvo lose their appetite and become extremely lethargic. you definately need to get him to the vet and make sure he's hydrated. especially with a dog that small.

call the vet or the breeder that you got him from
better do something quick, those little guys don't
have any reserves to draw upon
