I would figure that you would die from the stuff the mosquitoes inject into you long before you die from losing all the blood they suck out of you.

think about this : when people donate blood - they actually loose 1-2 pints of blood in an hour and yet they would drink juice, eat some glucose biscuits after blood donation and body will soon replace the lost blood.

I doubt any number of mosquitos could ever cause 'blood loss' !

I think you need to loss around half of your blood to suffer from shock, so it must be 1000's of bites. Great question

That would take alot of mosquitos.... 15% circulating volume loss (750cc for a 70kg man) has little effect. 30% (1.5L)Would cause tachycardia, tachypnea, and anxiety.
