Best airline is Air Asia like mentioned before www.airaisia.com. They fly not only in Thailand but you could for example also go to Singapore or Hanoi (Hanoi could be as low as 2500-3000 Baht if you book early enough). Just check the website and get a quote.

For budget hotels use www.excelloz.com. They are very good for Asian Hotels. Just go to the desired city section and sort the hotels by price, then you will get lots of cheap hotels.

You can easily find budget hotels almost everywhere in Thailand, so I guess u don't have to worry too much about this. U can google this up too.

But I suppose booking ur airline ticket will be a lot more tougher. Try Air Asia at www.airasia.com. It's a low-cost carrier and the earlier you book your flight, the cheaper prices you get. You can book your flights via online at the website.
