I get up and go to work and I sit at my desk and then the yawning starts, the big stretching. I hate it, I look around everyone else is busy, i see no yawns, no sleepy people like myself. what gives?
I eat breakfast everymorning, lately toast with "frischeskäse" (im currently in germany) and salami, washed down with mineral water. I take showers at night because I cant sleep dirty.
what do you guys think?

How many hours of sleep are you getting?
If you are getting the hours you need (varies from person to person 6-10hrs), then you may have a sleeping disorder like sleep apnea.
Here is a link with useful information that may help you.

Some people are just not morning people. It might just be the way your body clock works.
If it really bothers you, you could try coffee instead of mineral water. An additional shower in the morning also might refresh you. Finally, a breakfast of bread and meat can put you right to sleep. Try whole grain cereal, or juice, or even no breakfast at all.

well, try to sleep earlier than you already do, eight hours enough or not, people are different, you might be one of the percentage of people who need to sleep more than average. its just like that, i have a relative who gets more than eight hours of sleep, but he still goes to school sleepy and groggy all the time, so he started sleepig EARLIER, it wasn't easy, but he did it. he's fine now, well at least less sleepy in the morning. maybe chew on some candy? it might help. =) good luck

I do the same thing but it hasn't bothered me enough to see a doctor. Could be boredom or maybe you have some sort of sleeping problem...or something else. Probably best to talk to a doctor and find out what's wrong, if anything.

Are you taking any medication that makes you drowsy? I have a cough medicine that has codine in it, which makes you drowsy. It makes it hard for me to get up and feel awake.
You could also be going to bed too late, or sleeping too much. So much depends on this.
Maybe invent a machine to spray yourself with cold water once your alarm clock sounds. lol, just kidding.

Hello, I’m not sure… that’s an extremely good question; I can’t remember one morning when I’ve not woken up hard. Sometimes when a guy has to pee it goes hard to make more room and I’m guessing that’s the case. I wish you the best of luck. Signed, You’re Good Friend. -Ryan M

its best to stay sleepy when you go to office as there you can remain sleepy and just wake up before coming home to stay awake for at least midnight.
