I haven't been on here very long, but I am noticing a lot of anti-Christian, pro-nonbeliever sentiment. I just have to ask why. I'm a Christian and I love being one. I'm not perfect, nor do I get in people's faces pushing my beliefs onto them. If they wanna know what I believe, they ask and I gladly share.

I think it's time that people should stop asking silly, derogatory questions concerning the Bible, Christ, and Christianity. Until you can say that you're beliefs (or a lack thereof) are perfect, then stop pointing the finger at others who believe differently.

Just because a Christian wronged you in the past, doesn't mean it's too late to form new opinions.

Amen! Although Christians get too overzealous in not only defending the faith but trying to "preach" to people who's already made up their minds. It's no use.

"Do not give your pearls to the pigs, lest they trample on them and tear you to pieces."

Carry out the Great Commission to those who haven't heard of the Good News, for they are like children and the kingdom of heaven is to such as these.

The present days are no different from the days of Noah, and Soddom and Gomorrah. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. They've made their choice. You only have to let the testimony of your life as a true and mature Christian shine like a light to the world. That might make them change their minds.

God bless!

Calm down everyone.

There's just as much Anti-non-Christian sentiment as anti-christian sentiment out there.

The Atheist hate the believers, the Christians hate Islamics, and everyone hates the jews.

"Oh, the white folks hate the black folks,
And the black folks hate the white folks.
To hate all but the right folks
Is an old established rule.

But during National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week,
Lena Horne and Sheriff Clarke are dancing cheek to cheek.
It's fun to eulogize
The people you despise,
As long as you don't let 'em in your school.

Oh, the poor folks hate the rich folks,
And the rich folks hate the poor folks.
All of my folks hate all of your folks,
It's American as apple pie.

But during National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week,
New Yorkers love the Puerto Ricans 'cause it's very chic.
Step up and shake the hand
Of someone you can't stand.
You can tolerate him if you try.

Oh, the Protestants hate the Catholics,
And the Catholics hate the Protestants,
And the Hindus hate the Moslems,
And everybody hates the Jews.

But during National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week,
It's National Everyone-smile-at-one-another-hood Week.
Be nice to people who
Are inferior to you.
It's only for a week, so have no fear.
Be grateful that it doesn't last all year! "

Some of the questions are silly and some are just people wondering what others think. I am not anti anything. Read some of the answers when a question is asked of an atheist, we get a lot of rude comments about our beliefs as well. It definately goes both ways with the immature name calling and generalizing.

I appreciate the point. Unfortunately, there are a lot of very pointed and nasty questions being posed by "Christians" who are apparently not as Christian as you. The vicious insults and angry accusations some have posted in here just don't seem very Christian to me. I say that if you want to believe, that's fine, and I commend you, but those who call themselves "Christian" without acting like one really burns me up.

Probly because every time a non-theist steps outside of their they are attacked by Christians telling them they are going to hell or that they will pray for them.

Then they come here and see the same type of ignorance and feel the need to finally defend themselves.

MY LACK OF SUPERSTITION IS PERFECT!
Christians don't mean to be hurtfull. Yall just come out like that when you don't think about what you are saying.

The religion is very flawed and contradictory. I was raised catholic and I gave it up because of all the crap I was taught at CCD. Also, just because you don't accost people with your beliefs alot of christians do and it's really really beyond annoying. If people don't ask questions, change will never come about and change needs to happen.

Life as a Christian has it's trials and tribulations. Christ warned that it would be so. That is why the comforter (Holy Spirit) was sent to guide and help us, to be our teacher. Remember that we do not war against flesh and blood, but against evil spirits. It is just part of the warfare, man, just part of the warfare. But, oh well, just let it go. Pray for your enemies. Be of good cheer, for Christ died so that you might have life and in abundance.

I think the main reason is because Christians try very hard to impose their morals on others through passing unconstitutional laws & because they want to get their grubby hands on taxpayer money by having school vouchers and "faith-based initiatives." Lots of us think it sucks that you want to stop same-sex marriages. And a lot of us think it sucks that we're stuck with that ******** Bush for another 4 years just because you all came out to vote against gay marriage.

Plus, we're concerned that some J-freak is going to try and start WWIII because he thinks that'll make Jesus return sooner. So yeah, please don't be so surprised at the level of hatred aimed at Christians - there's a lot to hate and it's well-deserved.

That goes for you too.... if you read further you'll notice that the majority of questions are from xtians wanting to know why this group of ppl or that group of ppl can't "see the light" and the non-xtian groups are just answering in kind.

This country is dominated by xtians and the Internet is one of the few places you can stand up the 400lb gorilla that is xtianity with out putting and end to your career or freedom. I'm just sad that all of these ppl don't stand up for it in Real Life.

Because I grew up in a born again christian household and was one for 12 years of my adult life. I finally figured out it was all BS and none of it was true or worked in any one's life. Much happier and life has been much better since I gave up the stupidity of religion for the common sense thinking of atheisism.
