Why not! There is nothing wrong with telling a person that you love them, doesn't always have to lead to marriage. Your circumstances or the way she feels may change within the two years and you may have a second chance.Unless of course you are a physic and can already see the future. So unless she finds it difficult to spend time with you any more as friends II cant see a problem. Everybody needs to have friends.

I could be all nice about this and say that it just depends on how close the two of you were, or I could be blunt and just say that no, it's most likely not going work like that. I seriously doubt she will take the news well, so just be prepared for any anger. You lied to her man, she will be upset, count on it.

This isn't something I'd advise that you hold off on either. You're better off busting her bubble now while the repercussions for your actions will be minimal. Just remember that the longer you wait to tell someone something like this, the more painful for them (and you probably) it will be when you finally come out and say it.

Just be cool. Love is love. You should love your friends!

There are people I love, but we could never settle down together.

Can't change who you love. Even if you can't tolerate eachother in a living situation - you can still feel love for them.
