to the zoo, even 15 year olds enjoy it, maybe a not too crowded amusement park, or just pizza at the mall.

Hard with the newborn. An amusement park would entertain the two older kids, but can wear on you with the baby. If you have a park with nature trails that might be a nice walk. Perhaps you could get a sitter for the baby and take an hour or two for a date with the older kids once a week. You could bike ride together, go bowling, or to a movie.

I suggest that you offer for them both to bring a friend, and go to like a waterpark or something. Something that they all can enjoy. Do they fight alot? (Not the newborn, just the eight and fifteen year old) Because if they do they probably wouldn't want to be with eachother anyhow. 15 is a difficult age to get through. And so is the age eight, if you are have an older brother/sister. And for the newborn, if you decide to go to a water park there usually is something there for little babies that you and he/she can do together.

Be very careful what you plan. Outdoor activiites in this hot summer heat aren't healthy for a newborn. An amusement park has nothing to offer a newborn. And indoor stuff isn't fun for anyone when the newborn starts bawling. Why not leave the baby with dad, and take the two other kids to Chucky Cheese, minigolf, or a picnic?

Go to the movies. Pirates of the Caribbiean/Dead Man's Chest is still playing and will appeal to you, the 8 year old as well as the teen...newborn will probably sleep through it.
Go to the zoo, the library, on a picnic, if there is a river or lake nearby go. Go to community swimming pool, keep the newborn well shaded against the sun.

Go to an ammusement part. Our family has been to the local ammusement park many times. I usually take my nieces that are 3, 2, and 1. My sisters go who are 15 and 18. My mom and I am 23 some times my brothers go also. Anyway, we have fun. I f the older ones get bored send them to do their own thing for about an hour or so and have them meet you back for lunch or check ins. It is gated and secure so you worries should be minimized.

Does your area have a community pool? Kids love the water, so get your 8 year old some floaters for his or her arms and have a good time. Babies defintely love the water so you won't have to worry about that either. So slap on some major sunscreen and go and have a good time.

Plan ahead with a massage therapist to spend an hour or two with your family. Ask your massage therapist to prepare a session with you and your children to learn a few skills of touch and massage that your family can use to care for each other. Research has shown that massage, even simple back rubs, can increase an infant's or child's I.Q. significantly. And, wouldn't it be wonderful to have random shoulder rubs from your boys? Learning some massage skills will help your family be as healthy as it can be. On future outings, seek out alternative healing practitioners of all kinds to visit as a family for an hour for recreation and to learn and explore and share new experiences about health.

I like the idea of a pool on a nice day and the library on a rainy day.
I am a HUGE fan of the public library.
Best wishes and have fun!
