you want to stabilize the toe, so bandaging it to the neighboring toe. if it's painful, red or swelling, ice it on for 10 minutes and off for 20, repeated. and take a pain killer like advil if you need it. then raise the foot up to relieve pressure, and to minimize blood flowing to it. try not to weight-bear on this foot. see your doctor.

Find a pair of tennis shoes that you could cut away the toes area but you would have the sole under your foot. That way you would have a rubber bumper to protect your toes. Try that, I hope that helps..... Good Luck..

in case you've been given it truly solid. when I stubbed my toe badly, it took 2-3 weeks to heal. If it starts to worsen, pass see a surgeon. you may've bruised the bone or damaged it.

STOP BANGING YOUR TOE INTO EVERYTHING! Just kidding, it hurts like hell when you break that little bugger. My suggestion to you would to get shoes that are a little bigger for your feet. Other than that, time will heal everything. Ouch!
