Buchets Syndrome?

my daughter is 21 and has been diagnosed with Buchets, we have been told there is no cure. But there are ways to make life as normal as possible. How???

I think you mean Behçet's syndrome which is a rare, chronic inflammatory disorder of unknown cause.

Behcet's generally begins in people in their 20s or 30s. Symptoms of Behcet's disease include recurrent ulcers in the mouth (resembling canker sores) and on the genitals, and eye inflammation but it can affect many other systems.

Unfortunately, as you say, there is no cure. Steroids can be used for the acute attacks but they don't actually cure the disease. Otherwise symptoms such as mouth ulcers can be treated, anticoagulants can be given.

A number of newer treatments are available now, such as FK506, IFN alfa-2a, and infliximab - and there is some evidence they reduce attack frequency but I'm not a specialist in this area and you are better off discussing this with your own doctor.
