No Yahoo simply sends a violation notice saying that the content was deleted with a link to complain if you feel that the violation was unfair. In my experience nobody answers your complaint. They don't make people apologise but some people do. Actually an apology in the form of a question is, itself, not within Community Guidelines, so is liable to get reported/deleted.

I think they apologize just in case someone was going to report them. Yahoo just takes away 10 points when you get reported.

Are you saying "before" or "for"?

I've never had anyone apologize for being offensive on Yahoo.

You either got to apologize or pay a stiff monetary fine! I think it's $175.00!
