Marriage is a contract. The bible looks after a woman and tells the man he takes the responsibility for the new family he has helped to create. With a contract come obligations. The bible is a very open to interpretations, but obligations are written out, the question is now to perform them.

No,according to me not any religion allow for having children without marriage,but you can have open relationship as best friend and lover whatever may be.

I think no holy book or religion or even a sect has anything to do with liberation. We are born as humans...we are preileged! Dont u think so? By following one religion or sect is finding our liberation in their limitation. We should do whatever we think is ok for us!
Why just limit urself to the bible's view... even jesus was born without marriage! Under what religion jesus born?

Marriage is to protect the heritage of the children. I believe if a man and woman commit themselves to each other in a religious ceremony with witnesses present (to hold them to that commitment) that is all that needs to be done.
Heck with the piece of paper.........
BUT, God told us to obey the laws of the land so we SHOULD do that.
We can look at what has happened to Abraham's children to see God has a better plan...

NOT ACCEPTABLE. A MAN AND A WOMAN COULD HAVE A REAL RELATIONSHIP,THAT IS WHEN THEY LIVE TOGETHER ONLY AGTER THEY ARE MARRIED, RESPECTIVELY THEY CANNOT HAVE CHILDREN WITHOUT BEING MARRIED. THE BIBLE DOESN'T ALLOW SUCH ADULTURY AND EVEN IN ONE OF THE TENTH COMMENDMENTS IS WRITTEN DON'T EVEN THINK WANTING THE WIFE OF ANOTHER..A VERY GOOD QUESTION..

i m Muslim and my religion is Islam.i have not yet read bible.i will tell about the teachings of religion Islam.in Islam a man and woman does not not allow to have child before marriage.there is not allow of open (sexual)relationship b/w man and woman before marriage.it is forbidden in Islam.
