What is wrong with including a Bible Verse as part of the answer?
Sometimes the Bible says something way better then anyone else.
Of course I do acknowledge that there should be some of their own words or an explanation of the bible verses as part of those kind of post.

Here are 3 examples of a word or sayings used in literature
and speeches that originated in the Bible:

1. scapegoat
2,. hand writing on the wall
3. wars and rumors of wars

Also, the greatest writers and speakers quote from history and great literature. Most literature experts will tell you that the Holy Bible is the greatest piece of literature.
So why not quote from it?
Of course I know the Holy Bible is more then just literature but I think my point is made.

Have you noticed in this post, that not once did I quote an entire verse of the Bible?

Don't be silly! You're asking a question in the section of Religion & Spirituality.

It's nice to hear peoples opinion- but if your serious in regards to your question- then an answer straight from the Bible is the ONLY answer.

And for those that skip over answers that are cut and pasted from the bible- well, it just shows how sincere about God's word they really are.

why would it, if you're asking a question in the area of 'religion and spirituality?'...would you likewise be offended by references from the koran or the torah?
if that makes you 'want to become an even bigger sinner', that speaks volumes about your own strength of character, free will, and personal responsibility...no one can make you sin...that's a total cop-out...

it is had to cite scripture while the question demands it. those human beings who're Christians- can not separate our solutions from the observe of God- in the event that they do no longer align themselves together with his observe than no count what we are saying it heavily isn't truthful. i do no longer continuously "quote" scripture despite if, I pray my solutions circulate alongside with the reality i understand. only because of fact we would quote a passage of scripture that doesn't recommend we have not theory by using our answer- anymore than somebody else expenses yet another e book in a answer- and confident, human beings try this- why does it hassle you lots? i think of i understand- because of fact deep down absolutely everyone knows it to be genuine- despite in the event that they do no longer look to be waiting to admit it- and you your self suggested, you do no longer examine the bible lots- in case you probably did you would be able to discover it very enlightening.

Ah, the sin of pride...

just kidding....you must look at yourself and realize that the other person can control you if you go with your gut reaction. I've found it more amusing to give them the most sarcastic answer I can come up with.

It makes me want to hit them and wait for those hypocrites to turn their cheeks (which of course they won't). By not turning their cheeks to allow me another hit, wouldn't that make them sinners for not following the will of god?
