In an ideal world... yes.
To me it is like going to a remote, paradisaical travel destination... would you say it is more enjoyable and bonding as a couple when the two go together for the first time, all for them to discover and share the marvel at all the new experiences, sights, activities, tours, adventures, and so on, or if they just arrived on their own to meet there, both having already been around a bunch of times, with their own ideas already formed on which are the nicest places and best things to do, and memories of the past times there with different people?.
As for the experience... come on you just catch up and figure the whole thing out eventually just like when you were 16! there is a charm to see first hand the guy's process, and even if he always sucked, when there is true love there is no such thing as "sexual compatibility". And even then, there are always techniques and exercises to improve performance.
And there are still the moral, social, familiar, spiritual, and religious aspects to it... long subject...

Nope (i mean, its up to the guy), most people should have some sort of experience, even if its only with the woman he marries. Its nice to be able to please your new wife, rather than fumble around and give her a dodgy time.
