Not always.
A priest achieves a lot more than money can buy. A social worker is happy with no money if he serves a needy person.

this is what i feel. do you agree?

nope, money is not a measure of our achievements.

I agree with you, 100%

Take our last 2 presidential Nominees.

Bush and Kerry - -both have money but....
One was born into it, the other married into it.

Nelson Mandela, on the other hand is no more rich than an average middle- class American.

Money is nothing more than a means to an end. It's just a number. It's what you do with it that counts. When you see someone who is rich, you don't admire his money, you admire his material possessions (look at that HOUSE, I wish I had a car like that), in this case, the wealthy person has bought the envy of others. Is he happy? Who knows. Money is important because it gives you options. If you had money, you could do things that would otherwise be off limits (travel to egypt and see the pyramids, for example). But it's what you do with the choices you have that determines whether you are happy or not, and happiness, imo, should be the ultimate goal for everyone.

Yes, agree. Look at Mother Theresa she did so much good but probably had very little. I think the goals that we set, and how we go about accomplishing them is the true standard of success. Not money.

I'm living up with the motto " Money isn't everything, but happiness is."
