Hi guys, i was talking to my mother today about what a couple should have in common for their relationship to work. Some of the things she had listed were moral values, goals, religion, etc. But what I want to know is what other stuff is important to have in common? And what about humor? My ex boyfriend and I used to laugh at a lot of the same things, but there were several times when a joke of his would go over my head or he wouldnt get one of my jokes. I love putting a smile on people's faces and making them laugh..which is why it kind of bothered me when he wouldnt understand a joke of mine and he'd just give me a weird look. My mother says that that's a silly reason for thinking a relationship cant work. So what do u guys think? I basically need you all to answer these 2 questions..

1. Is having a similar sense of humor important?
2. What other stuff should 2 people have in common for the relationship to work?

THANKS!

"there is a couple who the match of each other they r the mirror of each other they r so happy"

that's substantial, yet no longer as substantial as some human beings think of. the main considered necessary ingredient is that each and each of you knows what makes the different individual experience enjoyed, and that's some thing you may the two grant. And that each and each of you be attentive to what makes the different individual experience unloved, and that's some thing you may the two keep away from. If those circumstances do no longer practice, then no count how lots a pair has in person-friendly, no count how stable the mutual friendship, the dating won't final. that's substantial admire the different individual for who they're and for the recommendations they make. that's substantial have useful expectancies: to comprehend that the different individual does no longer have the duty to make you happy, or to love your self, or to even shop you from ever feeling aggravated with them. the sensation of love isn't usually stable for predicting success of a dating. Having relaxing creates a bond ... yet what happens once you're the two under pressure out, working finished-time jobs, have the demands of homestead and infants and financial pressures? you elect the skill to easily undeniable like one yet another, whether no longer something relaxing is occurring.
