I am currently in Singapore and i am a singaporean.
I strongly suggest that if people could move any where in the world, they should come to Singapore.
It doesn't have much natural disasters. The only thing to be afraid of here is lightning.
Since Singapore is located near the Equator, it is indeed the most safest place in the whole world.
Singapore is also a multi-racial country & thus, you could find out about the different races we have here such as..
Muslims ; like people from malaysia
you can learn about their tradition and culture.
Indians ; such as people from india
Chinese ; such as people from china
Eurasians ; those from US.
There are alot of people in Singapore although it is just a tiny dot on the map.
There are still many historical sites around and thus, you can find out more about Stamford Raffles ; the person who found Singapore.
Their is also a war memorial park where there are statues of our war heroes.
I think you should definitely come to Singapore and visit the places of interests such as..
- Little India [ for the indians ]
- Chinatown [ for the chinese ]
- Kampong glam [ for the muslims ]
or sentosa.
do visit yeah(:

I'd rather stay, where I am: in Germany.
I like living here. Hot summers, cool winters, nice vegetation, pretty good health care for the citizens, one can express himself freely,
When I was young I wanted to move to the U.S. permanently. Then I spent a year there and I found out it wasn't all that good there.
The vegetation was rather brown then the nice green of the German trees. Everyone ran to church every Wednesday and Sunday and I had to go, too. The only thing I remember from the Baptist Sunday School is that one has to take a shower at least once a day in case Christ comes back. How silly.
One day I had some fun, asking many many students at my High School whether they took drugs. Most answered: "Yes, want some?" One even offered me cocaine in the classroom. I have never seen that many pregnant girls in High school. Man, don't they teach you about condoms?
I hated the dresscodes in Highschool. I dislike the American president. I didn't like being allowed to drink at 21, when the age in Germany is 16 (for beer). It's stupid to let children age 15 drive cars. At 21, they get drunk and in an accident because they don't know their limits.
And there are so many things ... I just loved returning to Germany!!! (and I used to HATE Germany before because of the Nazi history, but now I am cured; I am not a Nazi but I just like my own country)

Anywhere that bans TV and not much else. Where people are honest, actually care about what's going on and quit using events and situations for thier own agenda. Where people are not trying to force you into this or that fad, fashion or ideal. Where thought happens in the formation of an opinion. Where people do not attempt to run your life out of fear, insecurity or other irrational ideas. Where Democracy is real and Monopolies are actually prevented. Where new ideas are valued and can be acted upon. Where Science and Art are not mutually exclusive pursuits.
A place where you can find a niche for who and what you are without having other people broadcast thier niche at you 24/7. Where liars are not welcome and where deciet is a quick way to banishment.
If you know of any place remotely like this let me know.

Looking for a new life?, well I guess you are American and if so I may suggest you Puerto Rico. Yeas, right at the Caribbean. It is a nice island where you can still speak english, use dollars and they also have American citizenship, so, you will enjoy all of your American rights.
It has a good weather, beautiful beaches and great job opportunities.

I would move into my first 50 foot sailing yacht and travel anywhere in the world simply by pulling up the anchor.
It brings me the best felling of adventure and serenity.
