Well why do we need God when we have you to tell us what the score is? Thanks for the humility and non-judgementalness, it's refreshing to see a X-ian not come off like a finger-pointing hypocrite.

Wow, you're a condescending one, and a dunce at that. Everyone's opinions on God are subjective. Maybe YOU should spend your time reading the bible you idiot. Somewhere in there it says something along the lines of 'God gave man free will' blah blah blah, and then there's the whole Jesus thing with the casting of the first stone and such. It's basically along the lines of live and let die, respect other's wishes and don't judge others and such. I've actually read a lot of the Bible, some great stories with great lessons behind it, but again it's all open to INTERPRETATION. You are very arrogant too, you're probably one of those people that thinks IQ quantifies intelligence simply because yours might be high. Oh and I'm gonna throw some UTnow at you, he's a Christian too, just not a fundamental nut like some here may or may not be. (ye see that, may or may not be, it's a douchebag thing to do, but I can not be certain either way even based on what you type and say, because I'm not you and therefore don't know everything about you... etc... etc...)

This is the query that everyone on this planet must ask. Its a first-rate query. If everyone contemplated this, wars would not occur at each devout confrontation, and folks could get alongside. Even regardless that we don't have any evidence that there's a God, approximately ninety% of folks consider in God/gods. ninety% of the ones folks are damaged up into classes, with sub classes, with sub sub classes, all vieiwing God their possess method with their possess tradition. Me, for illustration, I discover church unsafe to my courting with God, and I see Him as a playful, humerous, significant jolly man whom I can speak to each time I wish with out do the correct prayer series, or even make a funny story with him or anything. (I've but to listen to him chuckle again, both I'm a foul comic, or he does not like my jokes). If you pass to any church, each and every individual has a further view on God in there, even within the identical faith. So, how do we all know whos correct and whos fallacious. The reply is noticeable: we do not. We simply have got to worship God in our possess method, and if he's a loving being concerned God, he will be given our possess practices, and no longer the ones of a two,000 yr + publication. Only method we're going to recognize is once we die.

And your ideas about god are correct?
Very well: prove it.
And no, I'm sorry, the bible doesn't cut it - you cannot verify that the bible is the word of god, thus it is irrelevent in supporting your ideas about god.
So, what does that leave you with to support your belief that your ideas about god are correct, and that others are wrong?
Absolutely nothing.
And therein lies the truth - your beliefs are just as objectively valid as every other person's. You cannot justify your religious beliefs objectively, and neither can anyone else.
While it makes sense to discuss theological matters within the confines of your own beliefs, it is senseless to try to claim that people who believe differently are simply wrong, because there is no way to substantiate that claim.

I completely agree!
Why don't all the others see what God really is. God allows starvation, hunger, war, pain, sickness in this world, whilst He obviously has the power to stop it all.
God allows the death of innocent children, yet He listens to a Christian praying for a new mercedes.
God even created people like you, people who generalize everything to the bone. Which is almost as bad as being racist, bigot or discriminative.
I agree with you completely. Why don't more people see the God that we see?

My dear Emily
People deny existence of God because they are too afraid of it. The Church bears a lot of blame for this since they care too much about their personal interests. 80 % of people who don’t believe justify it by giving bad examples of Church behavior. In another hand, people love money and respect but they gain it in a wrong way. Don’t forget that no matter what, you should feel love towards all humans because only than, you are a real Christian. God never gave up of us. Continue proving your points without being mad at anybody because most of the people live and they were born in the dark and for them it is difficult to understand. They usually want you to be example so if you want to prove them something, be ready for big sacrifices.

Can an opinion be wrong? (Could your Bible be wrong?) I don't mean that to be offensive... but me stating that your Bible is wrong is just as offensive as you saying that people have wrong ideas on God... If you meant about Christianity, then it's something totally different... and considering the different Protestant religions and hundreds of ways that the Bible is translated... how do you know that they're wrong and you're not?
Dictionary.com defines an opinion as: A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof

Well I do not know about others but I certainly have complete faith in God..I would also like to share my views..
It's usually this way...people act or speak as per their thoughts and point of views..we create a world of our own thoughts and think that others also think the same which may not be the case..so to make one believe in anything for that matter, you will have to talk to that person or so to say make him understand in every possible way..It isn't that easy you see...I appreciate your thought about God and making his presence known to everybody..great job..see you just made me write so much..hey thank you..God bless...

You do realize that God made it quite clear that it is his place to judge, not yours. Perhaps it is you who needs to get an education from the Bible

Hmm, and your views outside your brainwashed little church have gone straight down the toilet. Get out in the real world and see how life is, then tell me there is a God.
