i read little about ""marijuana".is it a psychic drug?in the ""kumbh mela''in india i show some people taking it.i wished to test it out of a curiosity.but i was afreid of the adverse effects.& at the same time i was alone & no friend of mine was to look after me there.so i thought not to take a risk.people with alcoholic drugs are seen violent & out of control sometimes.one friend told that it enables mind for supernatural experiances.is there any books to know more about it?

you can find out what the plant looks like on line, its also called hemp, the affects are fairly mild, but some varieties are much stronger than others, there are surely tons of books, and there is nothing supernatual about it, its very natural, but it makes you see things that arent there, like many mental problems can. its a psychotropic.

Go ahead and smoke it...it won't hurt you. It actually has some benefits. Nobody ever died of an overdose of marijuana... you would just get tired and take a nap. Alcohol and prescription pills do much more harm. See for yourself.
