Our Church is studying (and discussing) this very subject on Wed nights. And yes, the end of the world as we know it, is right around the corner. And don't listen to anyone who tells you to dismiss the whole idea and forget about it--these people are deluded by satan. Believe in Jesus Christ; He is the Son of God who came to earth to show us how to live and to tell us of God's unending love, grace and mercy. Jesus took all your sins (and mine) upon Himself and indured the pain, suffering and humiliation of those sins. He suffered the pain of a Roman whip and being nailed to a cross in order to offer us (you and me)eternal life. All we have to do is--A. Admit that we are sinners (have you ever lied, stole, cheated, etc.? those are sins.) B. Believe in Jesus. Believe He came to earth in order to offer you life eternal. C. Confess to Him that you are a sinner; tell Him that you believe in Him; and ask Him to come into your heart and save you and He will. He will change your heart and you will be filled with peace and love. Find a Bible-teaching church and tell the pastor that you have accepted Jesus as your Saviour and that you want to follow Him in Baptism. (Baptism is your first step of obedience). THEN you won't have to worry about the end of the world because you will be taken to Heaven in the Rapture before the End comes. I will pray that you do this before it is too late. The devil wants you to believe that there is "lots and lots of time". But God says, "the time of salvation is now".

Sigh...NO.
Look, in the year 999 everyone thought the world was ending. It didn't.
When Hilter came to power, everyone thought the world was ending. It didn't.
During the Cuban Missile Crisis everyone thought the world was ending. It didn't.
Remember Y2K? Everyone thought that was gonna end it all. It didn't.
And now because of the wars and stuff everyone thinks the world is ending. It's not.
There have been natural disasters and war since the dawn of history. As unfortunate as these things are, it's nothing new and nothing to panic about.

The signs point to that the coming of Jesus is soon. but like the Bible says, no man knoweth the day or the hour. only that it will be soon. Isreal in war....but God has his hand on the situation, were not to be afraid.

Why would you ask god for help? if god really created all this stuff, then he would also create the famine, death, disease we're talking about here.

oh, wait. there is no god. never mind. we all die in the end anyways, and when we're dead what does it matter?

live in the moment and don't worry about the future.
