I watched a play that talked about how people in your life have seasons. Most people's first mistake is falling in love with somebody who is only meant to come into your life and teach you for only a short period in your life. It may seem perfect but you have to recognize the difference between lifetime people and the seasonal ones that come and go. Same thing with friendships.

I can tell you that when my girlfriend and I first met (about 4 years ago) she thought I was wierd and I really didn't even know her very well. We were out of contact for a few years and then happened across each other. Long story short, we fell in love.

The point is, we both changed and grew alot over those inbetween years. If we had tried to be together in those early years I don't think it would have lasted long.

I suppose so. However, you can keep each other in calling range so you can still get started when it IS the right time.
