Get them to use a cam of some sort. That's what I do when I chat with people that way we both know for sure. Now a days its not that hard if someone tells you they cannot get a cam or do not want to 99% of the time they are liking. Well then again there maybe people that are scared of being ugly.
Web cams are like what $15-$50 and almost every PC can use them easily and most chatting software can use them.

You may not be able to if the individual does not wish you to know! Pay attention to the conversation as you go along! Look for references and inconsistency's! But honestly, if you're looking for communication with others that allows for almost complete honesty - you may not find it here! This forum allows for expressions of some truth, no truth, and all in between! This is what it is! A place where you can represent, interpret, and misinterpret perception and what is real regarding individuals and what is not!
