Because, birds can also get bored. You're lucky you have an internet connection and pour your boredom over at Yahoo, while birds only get to flap their wings..

some birds do it to entertain themselves, and sometimes its possible they are giving off a warning to other birds, dont know what else it may be though! Hope it helps!
