MS Office 2003 is the best one,if you want to adventure more in office ,Try the Beta version of MS Office,you can find it on http://www.microsoft.com.
It is totaly Free.

Microsoft Office 2007 will be the best with its new features. I will say that Ms office 2007 will beat the word perfect because there are thousand of people working on MS office and Million of peoples on the earth are using MS office.

Ms Office 2003 is by far the best of all of them, wordperfect has fell of the map unless it is for the Mac nothing beats wordperfect on the Mac.

You can use either, but MS Office is the most commonly used package by both business and personal use.
There is also the option to use an open source package called "open office" you can save files in the MS Office format and its free.
If your going to use it for personal use, try out open office first.

MS-Office, because it's more easy to understand and u can easily import or export files to another format and vice versa. with word perfect it is difficult (in my opinion) i've few word perfect files i can't open them in ms-office.
