Go get some Lotrimin (the kind for athlete's foot). Apply it as directed on the package. If the ringworm is in a spot that can accept a bandage, I would put one on it to minimize the risk of transmitting it to someone else.

Good luck.

From my husbands personal experience.........he was told he had ringworm for a long time. Then we found out that ringworm does not live that long. It ended up being Basel cell carcinoma (common skin cancer). He had it removed by a dermatologist and has never had the problem again. Maybe it's time to find a new doctor. Good luck to you and God Bless.

All I can say is to use Lamisil, or any antifungal cream, at the very first sight. Keep using it for about three weeks at a time on each area. That should take care of it. If you have tried this, it my be time to see a dermatologist.

Try "Surfaz-SN" or "Candid-B" ointment or any other ointment that has "Clotrimazole" which is a very effective anti-fungal cream. It needs to be applied 3-4 times a day on the affected part of your body. Also, if you have any pets, do get them checked by a vet.

if you've had it that long, see a dr. get some good meds. it might not even be what you think it is and you might be making it worse. also you should think about what your doing to cause it to reoccur so much such as hygene in that area.
