Well, girl. First of all drink plenty of water. Water can help control your appetite. Second, eat fruits and some veggies. Third, make sure you eat breakfast every morning. Eat lunch and dinner but do not over eat. Eat enough to be full. If you don't like running take frequent walks. Exercising can help tone up your body. Don't eat late.

After trying for 10 years. I finally lost 150+ lbs (12 stone) and kept it off for over 4 years now. I've beaten 3 terminal diseases and I am now in amazing health, all around, not just thinner.
I did it without medicine, workouts, religion, going hungry or hating my food and without an operation or secret formula. I had tried counting: calories; carbs; fat; etc. I had tried jogging, swimming, weights, aerobics, crazy medicines and starving! But nothing ever worked well or lasted very long.
I also had Hypertension, High Blood Pressure, Chronic Asthma, vision and hearing loss. constant colds and ills, annual flu or pneumonia and more. I was approved for bypass surgery and taking usually between 16 and 20 pills a day.

Calorie count, also Keep a journal of what you are eating with the calories counted. you can pick up a book that tells calorie amounts in most book stores. some even have the grams of fat and sodium in them. Good Luck

Lay off the sugar. No soft drinks. No candy. Also, limit your starch intake. No chips. No fries. No cake. No second helpings at dinner and no in between meal snacks.

Pasta
Cheese and butter
Fried stuff and sauces
Prefer :Water, Fish, Chicken, veg, fruit, yoghurt, brown rice.
