That's my major too! I am hoping for a career in the journalism field... hopefully writing or something at a magazine, but there are a ton of options. You could go in the print direction, at a magazine/newspaper like me, or the brodcast direction...news, news writing, news anchor, etc. Or not even journalism at all... public relations or advertising are good options too and would definitely work with this major! The cool thing about mass comm vs regular comm is that it focuses on the media and society and how people perceive things, rather than one on one communication. Even if you finish college and decide you want to do something completely different, it's a broad major and the knowledge would benefit you anywhere.

A bonus if your not a math geek... at my school, I only had to take one true math class, and two other math/science related classes of my choice (biology, geology etc) with this major.

Good Luck!

anything, well almost to a point anyway. let me be the first to say that while an undergrad degree may tend to steer you in a certain career direction many people end up going into totally different fields from the one that was ordained by their undergrad.
