They aren't getting fat because fitness is expensive.

They are getting fat because they overeat junk and sit around.

A good pair of sneakers doesn't cost that much. ('New Balance' is one of the most recommended brands by podiatrists and it isn't the most expensive.)

Walking is one of the best (and least expensive) exercises that exists.

To lose weight? In a nutshell:

Eat better food.
Eat less of it.
Move more.

People need to take responsibility for their health. Taking care of yourself is not expensive.

(Cigarettes, alcohol, junk food are expensive.)

And my gym membership, only $29.00 per month, is a great value.

in manchester the council run sports centres are quite expensive to join. they should be free! i am sure the health service would benefit in the long run. still as long as the govenment has wars to waste our money on we'll just get fatter and fatter.
