I think that you can. I don't really think that is neccessary to be "labled" in order to be saved. I may be wrong, and I may pay the ultimate price, but I don't think it matters if you are Catholic, Baptist, Protestant, Methodist, or whatever so long as you believe and put your faith and trust in Him to save you. Whatever name you give to Him.

My Opinion: I think what you are talking about is interfaith. What I believe is that this is not acceptable to God. Some people through theire own interfaith actually commit evil acts. To them this is ok because its how they choose to worship or connect to God. I think if you anybody wants to connect to God then that person should ask themselves whats acceptable to God.

James 2:26
Indeed, as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

The Ethopian eunich was reading the scriptures but was having trouble understanding a particular verse ---God sent Philip to him and he explained what the verse meant....

Act 8:35Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

Act 8:36And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Act 8:37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Act 8:38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

I personally believe that worship and faith is a personal thing. As long as you live your life without taking advantage of or using other people, and as long as you keep your relationship with God strong and current, that is enough evidence of faith. I also do not believe in imposing religious beliefs on others ... so this is just my opinion, and this is what works for me.

I think that belief in God preceeded religion because wanted to believe in something. Religion came later.
