Holy war indeed exists but is rarely applied. Rather, various religions claim their will is God's rather than making God's their own. It's a nice view, I heard from someone else.

The Holy War is a fight over the city of Jerusalem. Christians, Jews, and Muslims (Islam is the religion of Muslims) all believe it is Holy. Jesus was born there, Jews believe their religion started there, and Muslims believe their prophet Mohamed flew over Jerusalem during a spiritual flight. They all want the city.

P.S. Yes, Muslims did do the Terrorist of 9/11 but not all Muslims hate America.

These people who promote a holy war have a misunderstanding of God's part and mankinds part. Anyone who insists on killing another person to promote God's will doesn't understand who God is and how he works. First God doesn't need our help. Second, if you are Christian, you must recognize that Christ did not kill a single person while he changed the world. He lived, died, lived again, and ascended to heaven.

So the people who engage in holy war, honestly believe that without them God's will for mankind will end. This is a huge burden for anyone, and it is wrong.
