No my husband had Hepatitis C and my doctor told me that it is extremely difficult to catch Hepatitis C through the normal contacts of husband and wife, including sex. This primarily a blood born disease, apparently. However, if you are concerned why don't you check the health site which covers Hepatitis C.
After he died I had a blood test and it was completely normal, which is what the doctor said she expected anyway.
Oh, by the way, my husband wouldn't quit drinking which is why he died.

No, not me but a friend of mine was. She divorced him (never knew he had Hep. C) She contracted the disease and then found out he had it. That's where she got it. He died a couple of years ago, and she has fought 2 rounds with it, and in remission right now.

Yes you can get hepatitis c from having sex. I work for a gastroenterologist, we treat husband and wives, and sexual partners all the time. It's more common to get HCV by blood. Intravenous drug use, tattooing with contaminated needles/ink, high-risk sexual behaviour. check out website niddk.nih.gov under digestive diseases
