I have always eaten the seeds. I've heard it isn't good for you, might bind up in some organ or another, but I still do it.

I use a knife to get most of the seeds out first, so I, too, can enjoy my watermelon better by continuing to eat not be interrupted by seeds. Seedless are not always sweeter in fact they don't take good all the time and they still have some of those small white seeds, which I don't like.

I can't imagine anyone buying a seeded watermelon anymore since they started growing seedless watermelon!
But how did they do it? Amazing, huh?
I think they both taste the same!

The seeds can be boiled or brewed as a tea, an old fashioned and very pleasant tasting beverage. The Chinese also toast Watermelon Seeds and eat them as a snack. In Western Africa,, they are ground and used in cooking as a sauce.

I eat a few, but save most of them up till I can spit a bunch out like a machine gun. Weird but fun.

Prefer seedless, but spiting them out, like I did when I was a kid, is also fun.
