cute.

nefairyteller

or nef scary teller, nef liar teller or wack farious
crackfarious, whatever floats your boat....just try harder to be clever or funny...really do me justice....or rather don't sell yourself short.

back to the question.

Orthodox???

you mean the republicans before the NEO CON take over......

they were a diffrent bunch...you could reason with them......

the old school or orthadox.....
by that you mean the modern inception of the political movement as depicted by Peter Vierk and William F Buckley.
was a responce to the fear of Communism.

the problem is that communism was never liberal or progressive but rather a diffrent form of facism...

i took a whole course on the comparison i recomend you do too.

so anyway....the political party of Republicans has shifted away from the what it stood for.

even the fiscal conservatives were left high and dry. just ask paul oniel....

Even the Reagan econmic plan of tax cuts to shrink government is a myth.

the Cato institute found it only led to larger government and more expensive government.
ect ect ect ect.........

What we have now are a bunch of NEo COns who don't believe in any of the roots of the traditional Repb. Party......
they're just ...........criminals.

theres more........but why go on you might not get it.?

*runs off to look up the definition of "orthodox conservatism" on the net out of sheer curiosity*

Mijo, Both of the examples you cite are at the extreme of the spectrum.

Most people fall in between-you know like a Bell curve if you have ever taken Statistics. Its not black and white from one extreme to the other it is the shades of gray in between.
