I went to a chrisitan/catholic schools, I have friends that are all sorts of religions. I was grown in a Hindu/Buddhist family. I belive all religions have their morals and point of views, but it is hard to believe that certain religious events actually taken place, besides the point, also, we all do the same things like eat, sleep, work, party and we can all get-along. On the other hand, there is violence in the middle east that involves religion. like hindus and muslims, christians and muslims, or Hindus and christians all have violent conflicts. I THINK ITS STUPID, because I seem to get along fine with everybody else. If it were true wouldnt their be only 1 religion? I think we can all believe in what we want. Im not sure if I belive in god or not, but I follow different philiosphies to seek what is out there. Im young, in school, have alot of friends and never hurt people and stay away from crimes. I am not a bad person. So what is wrong in this world?

Yes, I agree ... and two of the first three responses just go to prove your claim even more ... they can't simply let you ask a simple question without implying you'll be spending eternity in Christian Hell. Such love and respect!

I agree, religions are tools that people use to strive towards their spiritual goals (which vary). There isn't just one because there isn't just one spiritual goal that we all are seeking. Just as in your toolbox you don't just own a hammer because you know that a hammer can't always meet all the maintenance goals you may have. Sometimes you need a screwdriver, pliers, or a saw, etc. Even things like forks, knives, and spoons are tools that we use to cook and eat with. You wouldn't just own a fork.
The same is true with religions.
That said, however, I agree with what folksinger Ani DiFranco says in one of her songs "Every tool is a weapon if you hold it right."
Religions, by their nature, are just tools. However if you hold them right they can become weapons (and some people do).

I agree with you. I'm Catholic, but I don't see a need to go to war with other religions just because their beliefs are different from mine. Most people have the assumption that Catholics are extreme, but that's just a generalization, we're not all like that. My friends are from many different religions, ranging from Catholics, Buddhists, and Muslims to Atheists who have not religion. I think everyone just needs to lighten up. Let everyone have their own beliefs, don't preach or impose your beliefs onto others, and don't say that yours is the "right one." Life would be less complicated if there was a universal religion, but I guess life wasn't meant to be easy.

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://tr.im/WlTye
Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.
Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.

I know your searching for the Truth. Let me tell you first off that the way we tell whether a historical event is accurate or not is to look at ALL of the documentation surrounding it. For example, we know that George Washington was the first President, right? How do we know this for sure? We weren't there. The way we know for sure is by all of the documentation of that era by eyewitnesses of that event. They testify that George Washington WAS in fact the first President.
We do the exact same thing with the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All of the eyewitness accounts of the time clearly show that what He taught, did and said is accurate and true.
I hope this helps you.

I consider joe. Iowa has extra church homes than it does intersections. searching on the present political surroundings in this us of a although Republican wins the nomination could have an extremely hard time triumphing the presidency and in the experience that they nominate a Fundy alongside with Huckabee it must be like capturing them-self contained in the foot. What speaks volumes to me is the very actuality the % of registered Dems vs. registered Reps. that became out for the caucus replaced into 2:a million and that Independents 2:a million supported a Dem candidate over a Rep one.

Sometimes we conduct our daily affairs thinking we don't have significant impact in our society, but every day we have contact with dozens of people at school, at work, at the mall. When seen in this light, every negative thought, every careless word and every selfish action can harbor potential harm to others..People we encounter may respond to a negative expession, and like a chain reaction, can spread their own hurtful action to others during the course of the day. Within a matter of hours, one cruel thought or word on our part can literally affect hundreds of others, just as a stone thrown into a pool will affect every molecule in that pool. THAT IS what wrong in this word. So much criticism, whining, racism, biases maybe i'll start with love. I LOVE YOU ALL PEOPLE!!go spread the word!

You are obviously young and do not understand people very well. People have different views. People are raised differently. People will always fight. People will always be HUMAN. The only way to make people stop fighting and get along is to make one religon, one way of living, one way of existing. In other words, take away all individuality. It will NEVER happen. Maybe in two hundred years people will realize to that they need to respect people that are different but it's not going to happen anytime soon.

For a young person you have a very matured and logical mindset. I thin you're completely right, but many people are raised to believe in one thing and one thing only and that nothing else is right except what they believe. This is where most religious problems are rooted. It's sad but true.

You can live your life however you want. You were given free will by God. In the ways of the world, you can stack up all the good behavior points you want! But, do you know where you are going to spend your eternity?
