Billy Ingram and Walt Anderson opened White Castle in 1951, Each of the White Castle restaurants looked the same, They use the same cooking tools and serve the same thing at each location. That gave each WC customer the same expectation at whatever location they may stop at. McDonalds started in 1960 so that wasnt the first one and KFC started in in 1940 but the fact is that it wasnt a FAST FOOD restaurant it was called Harland Sanders "CAFE" so that answer is therefore almost right but at the same time diminished.
