Hi I'm an Aussie/Russian girl. I was in Moscow 2 years ago and yes you can buy magazines in English. You buy even the English newspapers etc. Just go into any big newsagent and she should find a small selection :)

English magazines are every where nowadays. So she will have no problem in finding them in Moscow.
But you have to put in mind that many magazines and newspapers are available online. So she will have no problem in finding her favourite magazine online.
www.newsstand.com also offers a wide range of newspapers and magazines that can be electronically delivered to your computer, and you can browse them as you browse any publication and more.
