whom I still have feelings for recently found out he has kidney failure. He now has girfriend, and she's all over him, we still maintained great relationship( non sexual ) but it feels akward to see him. I miss him & feel very sad that he's sick. Should i just walk away? or be there for him when he really needs support in his sick time? what to do....?

I think that you should definitely be there. If you're worried about his new girlfriend getting jealous you shouldn't worry about that. If you really feel that you and your friend are both feeling the same connection then it is important for you to be there for him. If his girlfriend is a good person she will understand and if your friend is good to her he will explain the situation with the two of you. In his time of need there should be no worries about whom is there for who, everyone needs to show that they care. the last thing he needs to worry about is his best friend and his girlfriend having problems with each other. I think what you should do right away is talk with his girlfriend and let her know that you would like to be there for him and what your intentions are, let her know that you only see him as a friend and that you know she cares for him too. Good luck, and I hope that your friend can get better.

Be there for him. Chances are that this gir will probaly run off and youll have him back. Or at least that seems to be what always happens for me.
