I thought being in a relationship for year or two would be sufficient for me to consider marrying a woman, but it didn't happen that way.
I met my fiancee' for the first time, but didn't really like her. We went out on a date three days later, and I still didn't really like her. One kiss, and we instantly fell in love with each other. Our wedding date is November 12th this year.
The moral of the story: It's not how long you wait, but who you marry that counts.

I would wait exactly 1 year. That way the Aniversery of you meeting is the exact same anniversery of your proposal and you have one less gift to give each year. I friends who waited 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and 8 years. Take your pick.

Well. It all depends on your particullar situation. I love my girlfriend to death, and weve been dating for 4 years, but I'm only 18 and college could change us alot so unless she gets knocked up, now wont be the time.
