I quit smoking 2 weeks ago. I wanted to start again today. When I smoked one I started to cough and couldn't stop. My lungs start feeling like they where on fire. Almost feels as if they where closing up on me. Its kinda hard to breath right now. Its not critical though. So whats going on?

Your body is trying to help you stay away from cigarettes...
If you are very concerned, see a doctor... you didn't say how long you smoked or how old you were... that would make a difference really whether to really "panic" about it and hit an ER; but then again, shortness of breath and chest pain (even mild)... signs of a heart attack.

Cigarettes have nicotine...Its a constrictor..like addicts respond to drugs..and go thru withdrawls the symptoms your experiencing is your body telling you don't start back because if you do it will be harder to quit next time. Other ingredients are things such as formaldehyde used in embalming dead bodies.
