cause workout sometimes have the person holding his/her breaths, which allow fewer oxygen to the head...so the brain would work or mature slower?

Actually exercise increases blood flow to the all the vital organs including the brain and will increase brain capacity. HTH.

I'm really beginning to wonder about this! I'd rather not use the term stupid, though. Maybe, intellectually challenged. You do have a point about the maturity thing. Look at all the tiny gymnasts.

There is something to be said about extensive workouts in children. There are studies out there.

I've noticed this too - maybe they are driven to compensate for a clear lack of cerebral muscle, hehehe
