there are so many supplements and medicines in market which boasts of increasing memory but as far as i know an indian traditon always believed in dates and almond.....u can dip some almonds in milk and soak it and give it to him early morning and also dates with milk is help ful. Its also said seven seas code liver oil tablets also helps in memory gain.....so try all these and see ....

Make sure his diet is good. High Fructose Corn Syrup makes the brain sleepy and dull. Proper diet is key. Also, look into foods and nutrition that help the mind function better. Fish is a good brain food.

You should give him strawberries and any kind of nuts cuz they help people to more likely remember things.
You should have him read intersting articles he can remember and like play games such as memory!

almond oil ,or almond 4 to 5 a day,or mix almond oil with milk ,u can also try bramhi(ayurvedic medicine) it will help him...and try doing meditation it increases concentration
