we were on myspace and i was going to put a comment on one of his friends pages for him which he said i could do and apparently didnt like what i had put so he told me to erase it so i did and than he was all dont get all but hurt just cause i didnt want you to put it so i just smiled than he said if you dont talk to me im going to leave and i didnt want him to leave but i didnt say anything i just smiled again so than he was all well i guess you want me to leave and i smiled again and than he got up i walk him out the door and he left wtf is up wit that do you guys think i acted like a ***** for not saying anything ?? i didnt really think he was gonna leave but when he got up i wasnt gonna beg him to stay what do you think i should tell him when he calls me or comes over again i know he will ??

Why didn't you talk? A smile in a situation where the guy asks you something like that means yes you wanted him to leave, and you did it more than once. What did you expect him to do? He tried several times. Tell him how you felt about it instead of just sitting there grinning like the Cheshire cat. Guys do not handle subtlety and hints very well, nor do they understand that smiling routine - and it always backfires. Talk next time, and don't just type something you think he wants to say, talk about it first. Communication is the main key to any relationship, start using it clearly instead of giving hints. He will be back, treat him with respect and ask him to please do the same with you. Best wishes.

What you did wasn't bad but by not saying anything you told him you wanted him to leave. All you had to do was say something. That is not to say he didn't overreact a little. I think you should just let it blow over and let him calm down. Tell him you didn't want him to leave when you talk to him again and say you were just a little out of it at that time.

just start laughin and say "awww baby you know i was just playin with you, you know i want you here i was just tryin to make you mad cause if i was serious then i wouldnt of smiled and i would of been serious. I love you baby dont be mad no more" i dont know if it will work with your boyfriend but i always works with mine. but he always tells me i hate when you act like you dont care about me man dont do that no more (cause he is a drama king!!!!) so i say "ok baby im sorry" then i give him a kiss then its all better

It was kind of ignorant to just keep smiling at him and not answering him. You should have told him you were sorry and that you wanted him to stay.

what if everybody typed without ever using punctuation maybe that is what he didnt like maybe he would understand you better if you used punctuation do you speak or not speak in a manner that is that hard to understand too no wonder you have communication problems
