Do not worry about it unless its getting bald, i have a persian cat and it shed hairs too, you should brush hairs sometimes and when its really hot, keep your cat in the air condition room, and give bath atleast once a month.

hope it helps

Persians have a tendency to shed more then most, because they are a long hair breed. If you feel that this is happening for another reason, then by all means, take your cat to the Vet and have it checked out. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

This occurs to my himalayans too. The secret's to comb them with a rake like comb to get the beneath coat out as they're dropping it. If no longer, the deficient matters can turn out to be a multitude very quickly! And sure, I've had a couple of matts that once I eventually obtained them eliminated, there was once a bald spot. As lengthy because the dermis appears adequate, it's going to develop again.

your persian must be shedding... all cats shed their undercoat in hot weather - nothing to be concerned about unless your persian starts developing bald spots - then it could be a sign of skin ailment due to allergy or poor nutrition.

Breed has nothing to do with it. All cats shed fur and it does seem to a year around thing when you have to vacumn it up. There is a hairless cat breed, but other than that, they all do.
