Don't worry so much about when He comes. Instead, worry about keeping yourself close to Him, so that when He does come, you will be ready. Remember, no one knows the hour except the Father. Just make sure your faith is rock solid, and never let anything mess that up.

By that definition the Lord has been coming for the whole of human history! The only difference now is that there are more people living on Earth to report these phenomenon and get in their way. Per capita, less people die every year globally than any time in our history. Despite all of the normal environmental stuff that goes on, we're actually far better off now than any time in our past.

Mt. 24 vs. 5-14 (or the whole chpt.) luke 12 vs. 40 there are many verses that prophesy the end times which seem to sound very similar to our healine news. Judging from the current events in the middle east, I think Jesus' return should be expected anytime soon. Evaluate, what do you think??

most people would agree that hurricane katrina was one of the worst natural disasters ever. and the tsunami a while back in Indonesia was caused by one of the strongest recorded earthquakes. And consider the wars fought in the 20th century and now. more people died in the wars of the 20th century than in all major conflict preceeding it. These are the promised "critical times" no doubt.

it also says that the gospel will be taught to all nations, that hasn't quiet happened yet, China doesn't allow Christian missionaries...yet.
but his coming is very, very, close.

You never can know the exact date when He will return for us, so it's best to be ready at all times.
According to many escatological students, all the prophecies needed for Jesus' return have happened, so, according to that theory, He could come at any moment.
