If the kitten is attacking palyfully, you have nothing to worry about. It is a kitten, and this is typical kitten behavior. Eventually, the kitten will outgrow this, but if you are concerned that it will turn into an act of aggression, then consult your Vet about it. I'm sure they can suggest some helpful tips.

it all depends on the temperment of the cat. they playfully attack things that they trust and feel like they are family with, its play fighting, very common in the animal kingdom.

We have a cat here that is so loving but he loves to attack out feet hands and any thing else that moves.
It is easy to make your cat loving just let him be what he is.If you love him ,and when he gets older he will not be so ready to attack you.

first of all, don't rough play kitty with your hands or fingers. second, encourage him/her to sit or lie down on your lap by showing him/her that doing so will always be a pleasurable experience (I did this by grooming my kitten with cat brush and comb on my lap - now he just plops down on my lap when he wants purrrrrpleasure...hee heee hee). third, never speak to kitty in a loud voice when near you - always use your soft high pitch kitty voice; lastly, play with kitty with feather teasers to accustom him/her with soft play ... this worked with my second cat - But bear in mind that temperament is a major factor too.... hope this helps
