I got one of those notices in the mail about being part of that lawsuit. It sounded like a real rip off. You get a free credit report and the lawyers get like $30,000,000. I hate lawyers, so I didn't join the lawsuit, they aren't using my name to get more money and just giving me a free credit report. Screw them.

This was a lawsuit based on using credit scores to underwrite.

In order to qualify, you would have to be a customer who had an error on your credit report and IF the corrected error would have qualified you for a lower premium, then you are entitled to the class settlement (which is $75 per policy term, with a maximum of $225).

The lawyers, by the way, get more than $3-million plus costs.

I believe the lawsuit is being handled by a firm in Florida. But they are sending letters out to everyone that has ever had a progressive policy during a certain time period. If you qualify you will get a letter.

Do a search on the Internet for:
" find information on class action law suite against Progressive Insurance.", and I think you will find what you are looking for.

Good Luck,

Why ask this type of question on here?Go to the internet, that is what it is for!! It's an information highway, you can ask it anything and it wil give you hundreds of websites to go to. HELLO!!

Go to www.google.com and type exactly what you just asked and you will get at least 10 pages of answers (I just did it).
