Everyone assumes that I'm a gold digger because my fiancee is going to be a Neurosurgeon. I graduating this May with my bachelors in Marketing, i also have a good education which pales in comparison to my fiancee. But i do have ambitions of my own. Once people find out my fiancee will be doing his residency for Neurosurgery, they all say "oh so you're that kind of girl". Im so sick of it!!!

Sounds to me like they're just jealous. Ignore them. You know the true reasons why you are with him. You don't have to justify yourself to anyone.

Lisa, lemme tell you girl, you are a gold digger. It is ok cause your husband can fix it. With a nice diamond ring, or a vacation to honduras. You know hon, what other's think of you matter's the most. It isn't about what you think. Cause you think you've got the flash flash when really he got the dash dash or the bling bling.

Bob

Those people are rude and idiots, and don't deserve any thoughts from you. Ignore them, as you would some pesky gnat that was buzzing around you.
Only two people need worry about you and your fiancee, and that's the two of you. Forget about the idiots, and what they say. Not really worth your time, and angst.

I don't know that dr's have the same thing going they used to....they used to be the richest people. today, they are not. You are prob talking to older people who say that. I would remind them that he's not there yet. Nsg is prob the hardest residency there is......ignore and they will stop ....good luck!

Tell everyone who thinks you're a gold digger that you didn't choose what career your fiance chose.
